Enjoying delicious food. Best without regrets and easy to cook. That is what I am looking for every single day.
If you eat the LOGI way or Paleo or you just prefer a moderate intake of carbohydrates and/or healthier choices of carbs, here you will certainly find something suitable, too. (Who will not give up on potatoes, noodles, etc. simply add those.)
I certainly will not forget to fill "Baking" as well as "Treat and Nibble" with recipes!

As I avoid carbs from e.g. legumes and rice at dinner and also grains in the morning, maybe the category "Breakfast" will offer you surprising options.

Note:
Usually my recipes are made for two. (Leftovers will be eaten later.) I use almost exclusively top and bottom heat for the preparation in the oven.

Lemon Bundt Cake

Yum! I skip the lemon syrup and still am happy with this cake. I would say that everybody likes this cake. Not too sweet, fluffy… yummy.

Chicken Wings – Easily Done

I prefer the easy way to prepare chicken wings. I love them all year long! The lime juice I use generously. I do like the combination with dried rosemary.

Breakfast Coconut Cookies

Breakfast Coconut Cookies

From time to time to have a cookie for breakfast is something special and delicious to me. They are gluten-free. But they easily become dry. With three eggs I am pretty happy. Feel free to add more! Re-warm these cookies the next day or just freeze them to enjoy another day.

Roasted Carrots and Parsnips

Roasted Carrots and Parsnips

Hungry but short in time? In this case roasted veggies are always a great option. Just preheat the oven, peel the veggies, place them in the oven. While they roast you can do other things. I appreciate this very much. Serve these with a lemon or mint yogurt. Meat goes well, too.

Lentil patties

Lentil patties… yes, they will be a little bit dry. Just eat them never ever without yogurt or curd – I like both especially with fresh chives. They are hearty and for me a perfect breakfast.

Yummy. A somewhat sweet purée quickly prepared. Definitely filling. I would say it is perfect for the cold season. You can enrich it with chestnuts.

Avocado with Toasted Nuts

Avocado with Toasted Nuts

If you are in a rush this is your breakfast: In a small pan, quickly toast some nuts you like. Toss nuts frequently to avoid burning. Halve an avocado and remove the pit. Arrange the nuts on the halves of avocado. Have a great day!
(I like to drink red beet juice with this dish.)

Curry Powder

Curry Powder

As I do not like to have paprika powder in my curry I frequently prep my own powder. This is quickly done and tastes good. I always use coriander, cumin, cinnamon, turmeric and cayenne pepper. Sometimes I like to mix in some mace and clove.

Roasted Sweet Potato with Lime

I did not care about the sweet potato for a long time. And it was not clear to me at first if I would like it. Meanwhile the sweet potato is frequently seen at my menu. Well, this easy recipe offers a different kind of a sweet breakfast. Or just have it for lunch.

Roasted Red Beets

If you are not a big fan of red beets, maybe you will be soon. As the red beet should have a second chance, too… I urge you to try this way of preparation.

Spaghetti Squash with Hazelnuts, Almonds and Parsley

Spaghetti Squash with Hazelnuts, Almonds and Parsley

Unfortunately the squash needs quite a while to roast. But for me it is worth it. That’s why I like to recommend this recipe.
As this squash has not the typical squash-flavor (in my opinion) this recipe could be doable for people who do not like squash that much.
